DeMigra capsules for the prevention of headache and migraine

DeMigra is designed to prevent headaches and migraines. The capsules contain extracts of Feverfew  (0.3% partenolide) and ginger (5% gingerol) as well as magnesium (57.9 mg of pure magnesium as magnesium citrate).

The synergistic effect of these three components of DeMigra achieves maximum effect.

Feverfew has significant analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activities, which has confirmed the folk use of the feverfew plant for the treatment of migraine headache, fever, colds, and these effects are attributed mainly to leaves and / or flowers due to the presence of sesquiterpene lactones (the most important being partenolide) and flavonoids . Also, medical studies have confirmed that feverfew has anticancer effects.

Ginger (5% gingerol) is also used as an anti-inflammatory agent in the treatment of migraine headaches, rheumatic and muscular disorders, as an anti-emetic in the prophylaxis of nausea and vomiting associated with driving or kinetic disease, postoperative nausea, seasickness.

Magnesium is an essential mineral in the diet of humans with a wide range of biological functions. It is involved in over 300 metabolic reactions. It is essential for carrying out every important biological process, including the production of cellular energy and the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. It is also important for the electrical stability of cells, maintaining cell membrane integrity, muscle contraction, nerve conduction and vascular tone regulation, as well as a mediator of calcium metabolism.

Description

DeMigra capsules for the prevention of headache and migraine

DeMigra capsules contain extracts of Feverfew (0.3% partenolide) and ginger (5% gingerol) as well as magnesium (57.9 mg of pure magnesium in the form of magnesium citrate).

Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium L.) (Asteraceae) is a medicinal plant traditionally used to treat fever, migraine headaches, stomach aches, toothaches, insect bites, infertility and problems with painful menstruation. This herb has a long history of use in traditional and traditional medicine, especially inter-Greek and early European herbs. Feverfew is also used for psoriasis, allergies, asthma, tinnitus, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. The plant contains a number of natural active ingredients, but the active principles include one or more lactones of sesquiterpenes, including parthenolide. Other potentially active ingredients are flavonoids, glycosides and pinenes. It has several pharmacological properties, such as anti-inflammatory, cardiotonic, antispasmodic, emmenagogue, anticancer, and as an enema for worms .

Medical studies show that the mechanism of antimigrenous action of Feverfew and partenolide is based on anti-inflammatory activity: inhibiting the synthesis of the kinase complex IKKβ, prostaglandin and thromboxane as mediators of the inflammatory process; preventing arachidonic acid release; inhibiting platelet aggregation; polymorphonuclear leukocyte granules and cytotoxic effect.

Parthenolide inhibits the growth of gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi.

Anticancer activity – mechanisms of action may include: cytotoxic activity associated with interruption of DNA replication by a highly reactive lactone ring, epoxide and methylene groups of partenolides by inhibiting thymidine in DNA; oxidative stress, depletion within the cell thiol, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and mitochondrial dysfunction.
Parthenolide and similar lactones have shown anticancer activity on several cancer cell lines, including human fibroblasts, human laryngeal cancer, human cells transformed by simian virus, human epidermoid nasopharyngeal cancer, and anti-Epstein-Barr antigen activity.

Alpha-pinene derivatives can have sedative and mild soothing effects. The extracts of this plant also inhibit the release of enzymes from the white cells found in the inflammatory joints, and a similar anti-inflammatory effect can also occur on the skin, thus explaining the traditional use of feverfew in psoriasis.

Ginger (5% gingerol) was used as an anti-inflammatory agent in the treatment of migraine headaches and rheumatic and muscular disorders, as an anti-emetic in the prophylaxis of nausea and feverfew associated with driving or kinetic disease, postoperative nausea, extensive vomiting in pregnancy, seasickness. In addition, it can be used to treat various stomach problems such as dyspepsia, diarrhea, cramps, etc. Powdered ginger is also used in the treatment of flu and colds, to stimulate appetite, as a narcotic antagonist. In Chinese medicine, it has been used for sore throat, nausea, vomiting and shortness of breath. In Indian medicine it is used in anorexia, dyspeptic syndrome and pharyngitis.

Magnesium (57.9 mg of pure magnesium in the form of magnesium citrate) is an essential mineral in human nutrition with a wide range of biological functions. It is involved in over 300 metabolic reactions. It is essential for carrying out every important biological process, including the production of cellular energy and the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. It is important, among other things, for the electrical stability of cells, maintaining the integrity of the cell membrane, muscle contraction, nerve conduction and regulation of vascular tone, as well as a mediator in calcium metabolism.
Magnesium plays a role in the cell division process. Magnesium contributes to: normal psychological function, maintaining normal bones, maintaining normal teeth, electrolyte balance, normal protein synthesis, reducing fatigue and exhaustion, normal energy metabolism, normal muscle function, normal functioning of the nervous system.

Regular use of DeMigra leads to a reduction of the severity and intensity of migraine attacks.
